Ok, LoL was originally a UT clan. So now we have branched out to DAoC and there are a bunch of new folks in the pride.

Who are all the new folks (non-UT LoL) in DAoC and where did everyone come from.

Please include each character you play in DAoC and a brief little tid bit about how you found your way into the greatest clan/guild around! :D

Also since I keep forgetting who all the UT LoLers are with all their new names, can all the UT LoLers in DAoC also post each of their DAoC character names please.

I got into DAoC because I was bored and needed a new game. I haven't played UT in well over a year (except for at LAN parties). I'd been interested in DAoC since before it came out but I had resisted it's sweet siren call for a few months. I ended up with this wacky gang because Boom sometimes hangs out in #cmi and mentioned that the LoL guys were playing and on what server. [CMi] and ]LoL[ have been friendly in UT for a long time so it seemed the logical place to go :D

(Actually I would've ended up in Midgard on another server with NeuralizR and Ineffectual except they were connectless)

Charter member of ]LoL[. UT was the first real game I ever played online. I played as IPoopedMyPants, for a few weeks then I figured out how to bind those taunts and thought it would be funny to make my name Boom and keep hitting the "Boom" bind. I started as Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooom, but it messed up the scoreboard and I got yelled at. A few months later I had made a bunch of UT friends and they made ]LoL[ and let me be in, even though I sux.

Some jerk on pellinor already has Boom, but I've never seen him. Maybe its some Midtard who never leveled enough to hit RvR. And I just as I was about to create Bewm, just to save the name, I saw a level one Bewm appear in Connla. I was too slow.

Sticky, I miss you tooooooo. :( But now that I am like a thousand miles away from your handsome hunk of a husband I can finally allow myself to fantasize about you. :o

How I got here: Aasimon is my boyfriend…he got the game as a late Christmas present and I decided to give it a try. I also used to dabble in Everquest…it was difficult to accomplish anything there without some real time commitment…time that I didn’t want to invest. DaoC was attractive to me because I could actually accomplish something without spending 30 minutes trying to get a group together (like ya sometimes have to in EQ).

I found my way first into Defenders of the Fae and then into Legions of Lions through my real life friend, Harm.

I would just like to say that you guyz and dollz are a wonderful bunch of people. I really enjoy playing and chatting with you. (Even when I’m not drunk!) I miss and love you all!

Can’t wait until this research shit is over and I can get back to the important things in life…like computer gaming and alcohol.

I'm required to do a research study as my senior project...I have to actually go through the data collection process, analyze my results, and then try to explain them. (So basically i'll be doing a whole lot of bullshitting.) It's supposed to make me a better person...or smarter...or something.

It's, of course, a complete waste of time. I'm an evil person...there is no hope that I could possibly become better. Actually I seems to be getting worse! (I sprouted horns yesterday.) And I can't get any more intelligent...all that wine has impaired me for life.
