ok when someone you are in a group with says they are one bubble away from leveling. Its curtious to stay in the group a bit longer so they can level before you leave. right? Personally i think its rude of someone to take off with someone that close. now whats the limit to this? should someone be seen as rude if they leave to RVR when someone is 2 dots away? I think 3-4 bubbles someone could sneak out of the group and not be seen as rude... but 2? i think they should stick around....
what do you guys think. this happened to me last night, and i want to know if i have the right to be a bit upset that someone left when i was 2 bubs away.
it makes me more mad that right after they left i died. i have been level 31 for way to long. you all know how that feels. do i have the right to be upset?

If it's a matter of 10 or 15 minutes before someone levels, then I'll stay, sometimes a little longer. I just think it's a nice thing to do.

I've never had anyone leave when they knew I was really close to levelling. I don't think it would make me mad if they did. But, depending on the reason they were leaving, I might find it a bit rude.

At my level, 1 or 2 bubs is just seen as a good excuse to stay on just a liiiiittle bit longer. ;) The group I was in the other night was like that. One guy had 2 bubs to go, then someone else had 1, then *I* had one, etc etc. All 5 members levelled that way, even though people had to be in bed long before. :D Then again, we were having a blast regardless.

Personally I don't *expect* someone to stick around, but everyone is usually happy to. Afterall, if they stick around for me, I'll stick around for them (like I need an excuse to stay on longer).

At higher levels (which I haven't reached), I can understand why people won't want to hang around as getting that last bub might take awhile. Then again, that's when I need their help the most... I don't know, I'd consider it courtesty, but not *common* courtesy, if you know what I mean. It's nice if they do it, but not necessarily required etiquette.

On the other hand, if I help THEM get their last bub and then they ditch me in the same situation, I'd get annoyed.

Generally if someone was 1-2 bubs left to level, then I'll stick around. Mullet mentioned that at higher levels it takes him a long time to get 1 bub, but where I am now, I'll generally stick around. I don't really *expect* other people to be as courteous, but it's nice when they are. I suppose if the Albs are knocking on our relic keep's doors and there's a mass cry for everyone to get out to RvR, then I would might just leave anyway, but apologize profusely and feel kinda bad.

PS. Pugsley, you're a crack up and I love the picture under you name :p

BTW this was ME who left, i had said i was gona RVR around 10-1030EST(when grundy was making catapult), it was 12 when i left the group...and i was still around for the briton who spawned on top of you....ask anyone here and i usually stick around...sorry that you died, but i prolly wouldnt have been able to save you if i were still in the group, seeing where the thing spawned. also, im sorry i did not know how many bubbles you had left, you probably mentioned it, if i plan on leaving a group, i usually ask whos the next to Level then stick around for it

well i think after hearing the replys about it....
Mull. i said several times how many bubbles i had to go. but dont worry about it. after reading the replys i've gotten i think its more me being frustrated with my extended stay in lvl 31. it would have been nice of you to stay. but im not mad. more frustrated.
i seem to die more then anyone i know. and not only did die once while you where there but again after you left.
but im going to suck it up....
i was just wondering about the subject... since it was a current issue to me and all...;)

As an enchanter, I get mad if my pet goes off to RvR when I'm still trying to get experience.

Its not a matter of bubbles, its a matter of kills. At level 10, 2 bubbles might be like 6 or 7 kills, so I would stay for it. At level 40, two bubbles might be like 100 kills, so forget it. If someone is a few kills from leveling, I will usually stay if I can, but I don't think anyone is ever obligated to stay in a group.

For me it's a simply a matter of time. If it's bed time, like after 1am est it's time to quit. Otherwise, I tend to stay with a group until it breaks up regardless of exp.
