One-time drops

Aasimon you were asking about these the other day. I found a forum where they discuss them. Apparently you have to be a specific level, and it's always a named monster who drops it. If you meet the level/class requirement and the named monster drops the item, it automatically appears in your inventory just like a quest item. Everyone in the group who is the appropriate level and class will get the item. Go here for a partial list:

It freaked me out when it popped right into my inventory, and that must be true about the correct level cause Istrarion was in my group at the time.

Btw.. Famine was the alp. He drops the Blackthorned Ring
+2 light magic +2 mana magic +9 intelligence

Never see any champ drops. Stupid game.

I only ever saw the earing that retardape got me that added 1 to valor.

Heh, I saw that earring drop the other day, my response was "wtf is valor?"

A few that come to mind...

41 - Scale gloves from named Amadan (just called 'amadan') near ligen.

37ish - Little Star, a named horse that drops a 7 con/str belt with some melee resists at 6000/6000 in the Gorge.

36 - Dorbal, also a named Amadan in same area that drops a nice rapier with a 100ish proc

39 - Ailbe (sp?) named Deamhan Hound near TC entrance in Gur, drops a dagger with a proc

40 - Named empyrian guardian in the valley behind Caille, drops a recurve called "Guardian Bow"

30ish - Brannigan near innis (just past parth farm back into the forest) rare spawn that drops a gem called "Lucky Gold Coin", dex/qui bonuses I think.
