Champions have had their hit points and melee damages increased.
Champion stat debuffs have been (much) increased in effectiveness in negating buffs.

Yaaaaay for Morety!!

- The Twinkling Visions line (Mentalist Light spec) has had its range upped to 1500 like all other spec DD spell lines.
(All other spec DD spell lines, except for the bard's 700 range DD...bah)

Added group resistance chants for the Paladin, Skald, and Bard.
What's this? It's a bard thing? And not a nerf? Sweet! And a chant doesn't require an instrument! woot! This is cool, because I've been seriously considering putting away my instruments and breaking out my bapper and shield for those small skirmishes. I hate just standing there, after the initial mezz, when someone jumps on me and all I can do is stand there with my drum and die. But I didn't want to completely give up my support role so that I can melee. With a chant, I should be able to give my group some support, and at the same time, increase my survivability by removing the "kill me first" swirling notes and instrument in my hand. We'll see. :)

Some other good stuff in there too. Check it out. :)

- Sorcerer, Minstrel and Mentalist charms now charm additional monster types at higher levels. The first spell in each line charms humanoids only. The second adds animal type monsters, the third adds insect type monsters, and the fourth adds magical type monsters. This should alleviate some issues with finding pets at different level ranges.

This is kinda nice. When Mentalists first got charm spells I went out and tried to use it. I almost couldn't find anything to charm since it affected humanoids only. Of course the mana-sucking aspect of the spell still makes it pretty much useless.

I'm also looking forward to the new Battleground, we've got a nice group of us approaching 30+ that should be able to wreak some havoc there :D

Hmm....the more I think about the new resist chants...I dunno. I assume that if there is a sleep spell resist, that that would be the preferred chant to use. And since all the realms get them, wouldn't this just amount to nerfed mezzes?

Also, since scalds and paladins outnumber bards, won't Hibernia get the short end of the mezz stick?

I don't know. I'm just pondering the possibilites.

Probably best not to speculate on patches too much until the facts are known. Oops, I just did. Oh well. :)
