I just upgraded my mobo and CPU to an Athlon 64 3400, with an Asus K8V SE Deluxe K8T800 mobo. I also installed an Arctic Cooling Silencer64 Ultra heatsink & fan. But when I boot the system up it has a CPU FAN ERROR (F1 to resume). I still had the case off so I checked and the fan is running and it's plugged into the CPU Fan prongs correctly. Checked in BIOS and I can see the RPM's of the FAN and the CPU temp fine. But this error always comes up when booting. Anyone have some insight as to why and how to fix it? Thanks!

Probably a BIOS update. Or you can usually disable the CPU FAN warning.
