Due to overwhelming demand, we're all back to Legion of Lions again.
When in-game, let me know you're they're and I'll invite you over.
I like the acorn. Whaddayou guys/gals think?
Oh, and it's purple too ;p

Ok, for the emblem I like the fourth column over and the seventh one down. Or the moose right below it. Both are cool. For primary color I like Purple 440462, and for the secondary color I like the lighter purple 9888a5 or the grey 9a9a9a. And I like the first pattern, the four boxes. I dont like the second pattern because the primary color is just on the little stripe and the primary color is prettier.
I agree on the boxes, and I'll put up with the purple ;p
The lavender-blue 8FA2CC is kinda nice too as secondary.
Roo wasn't kidding when he said Hibernia was the "forgotten" realm......friggin' albs got all the cool lions, and both albs and mids have plenty of cool weapon emblems. What do we get? Buncha friggin' leaves, trees and nuts ;)

I like the burgandy color better for a primary, but if everyone wants purple, that's cool too. If we do use pruple though, for a secondary color could we use a beige or gray? I don't like the light purple or light blue secondaries with the purple.

out of the the ones on this thead my favorite is the sparkle tree one. i looked at the link and in my opinion. i think we should use purple, blue, or red they just seem to be the most powerful colors. and as for the picture. i like the knot symbol looking ones.

I_B_Bangin we are trying to decide which emblem we would like to use. The emblem is worn on our cloaks and shields, makes us look like we are important and is a way for other guilds to identify us in game.
In UT terms, it would be like a "custom skin". :hump:

If you squint really hard a this one, it almost looks like three lions :D
I kinda like the nut too though, I haven't seen anyone else in the game using it, so that automatically makes it cool ;)

As a quick note, try to make something that is dark and RvR friendly. Bright colors suck because some people won't wear them during RvR because they need to hide better in with the terrain.
in that case, choose green on green, and a tree for an emblem ;)
Just stand aorund reallllll still.... ;)

I like cloaks that stand out in RvR since there's usually a ton of people and it makes it easy to see where y'all are.

I understand the emblem thing. My question has to do with the title of this thread. I didn't think the Guild was called "LoL".

The guild is now named Legion of Lions... Defenders of the Fae went bye bye.

LOL, This is like extracting teeth. Would anyone care to elaborate further on the demise of Defenders of FAE? I missed the memo.
In the beginning, there was dust...
And then a lot of boring shit happened.
And then Roo started playing DAoC (Dark Age of Camelot =) with his friends and they formed a "guild" (read: clan) which they named "Defenders of the Fae".
Then more ]LoL[ people played... few at first, and these few joined DotF... but then the rest of ]LoL[ started playing DAoC like they were downloading pr0n, and they formed a DAoC guild named "Legion of Lions"... however, this was fairly short lived, as the two guilds merged into DotF.
Now that Roo, and many of the original DotF are cancelling, or no longer playing, it's reverting back into LoL.
And then a buncha more boring shit happens.
And then the world ends.

Jing, you left out one key event in your history of the world.
Let me summarize and add the key event.
Dust, boring stuff, Roo gets daoc, makes fae, others make LoL in daoc, guilds merge, JING GETS CAR, original fae members move on, fae becomes LoL, boring stuff, world ends.

Well we've had pretty much nothing but different ideas. Nothing has really gotten a hell yeah lets get that one.
So I'm thinkin of having me and Morety sit down and just pick something.

Just pick one. I got too much gold sitting in my backpack and i need to spend it on an emblem. My cape is ugly. I need an emblem.

i agree it should be as bright as possible though, just because it is more fun to stand out amidst the sea of realmwar friendly cloaks
