3 Page History Issue

I'm not sure it is an issue, or maybe just some auto-pruning done by the backend of the forums but is this 3 page limitation on the forums by design? I wanted to find a specific post and its dropped off the 3 pages available and as far as I can tell is gone into oblivion.

Cant you change the option at the bottom of the page to "the beginning" ?

I don't see that option when doing a search, after I do a search...I know I've posted more than three pages worth of dealies, however if I do an Advanced Search on all my posts I can only see back to 4-12-2005. Actually it looks like the search command only gets you the latest 50 finds.

I can do a manual search I guess by going through all the post manually but that kinda blows donkey nuts.

You should be able to set the dates of your search, no? (ie, before or after a month, 3, 6, or a year)
