My first true 1v1 encounter

...where I wasn't getting sniped in the middle of a mob fight.

I was running up towards Bolg for one last run at helping defend last night when I got sniped.

I changed to my rvr quickbar.

She's an orange con archer named Vinessa
- took another arrow
str/con debuff
DD blast - disrupting next arrow

CHARGE!

dex/qui debuff
slow attack speed debuff
sluggishness spell to snare
/stick

Constant clicking of Fireblade vs. her spear attacks.

I had her to zero health, my shot... miss
she swipes me and I'm now at zero health

I hit.

115rp's and some bp's

I typed /em damn, nice fight, I'm down to zero health

Then I bragged on /gu

Now I'm braggins here :)

My RvR quickbar has one icon. its a macro for /release

Your journal entry is very helpful to me. Mana Elds have the same debuf spells so I have just learned a great deal from a Master on the art of combat with snipers. Come closer...let me try to snatch that pebble from your pocket....
