I grew up in New Jersey - where whites were a minority - and I was a skinny, white, smart-ass. I'm pretty sure I know what it feels like to grow up in a similar place - don't take it personally man.

Well it's hard to tell when you just say something vague like "I grew up where I had to defend myself".

I've never heard of anyone getting stabbed in the back of the neck either -- but I've never seen anyone with a scar there either.

My Great-Grandfather had a wicked scar... from ear to ear across the front of his neck... He was in the Italian mob though so I know where he got it from.

It was really messed up looking :/
