Is anyone else thinking that we should move servers?

I'd probably reactivate if that were the case

Kel'Thuzad is just as bad or worse than Stormreaver. Its nutty how we're on two servers that seem to be faltering and about to fall apart at a moment's notice.

Edit: Wow bleed, that avatar...is disturbing...

The issues are not server specific other than being aggravated by the high number of people on them, the problems are fundamental implementation issues -networking and database backend type crap that effect all servers in one way or another.
looking around the forums you see people complaining about how badly their server sucks from high, medium and low population servers...
The lower population servers are showing all the same problems with hardware and database bullshit as our high pop server-

yes some are worse off than others, and some are better off, but this is not only an issue with our server(s) and moving would not eliminate the problems we have to deal with.

Blizzard needs to get their shit together and get all the backend crap sorted out, if/when that happens we shouldnt need to move servers...

True murrie, but the problem with ours is that you get dropped only to find yourself in 400 person queue when you log back in. At least on a lower pop server you could jump right back in.

well that was and is in large part also due to the backend issues, they had to lower the pop limit to make it playable. it seems that they have relaxed the limit as i havnt waited in a queue the past couple nights...

plus i think alot of the crashing is being caused by the custom UI addons - I disabled a bunch of unnecessary stuff in cosmos and the game seems to run alot smoother.

I don't think the fact that I died in Desolace and re-appeared in Booty Bay had anything to do with custom UI add-ons or queues.

Their stuffs are all fuxxored up - yes, that's the technical term.

You do seem to see more time slips in the game. I don't ever recall rolling back in time in DAOC. It may have happened but I don't remember it.

DAOC was one of the only games ive played that didnt roll back - their must have had some serious database masters working with them becuase they defniantely got that right.
Otherwise all other MMO games ive played have had roll backs due to all manner of issues from straightup crashes to craptastic lag.

Not to make this a "praise DAOC" comment, but they had there shit together as far as hardware and data functionality. It was all the other stupid shit that they did that turned alot of us away from it.

I started a toon on Skullcrusher and the lag and re-set were annoying as hell...

Since I just started on WOW.. I decided to start a new toon on the newly opened PvP Server.. Frostmane... I haven't notice one single problem on this server.. it's medium population.. and it sort of fun with no lvl 60's yet...
