15 and still a noob

I have some quick questions about hitting the magical 15 level for Heros. I have picked up a short bow. How do I fire it? Do I need to purchase arrows seperately? My guess it yes but the merchant I bought the bow from didn't sell arrows, nor did any other merchant around? I am really looking forward to using it because pulling has been a pain without any kind of ranged attack.

I know that u buy arrows at an arrow merchant. There is one in ic and one at the hut by the bridge just before u get to dc. I pick up arrows for people sometimes. Other than that I can't help u.

I think Jing and Babylon and maybe Grundy can make arrows. They will probably give you a better deal than storepeoples. People who make arrows are called Felchers. :rolly:

You won't have much/any talent in using it effectively. You'll need it for pulling monsters from a distance.

Arrow merchants sell arrows, or you can find some player made ones. There's an arrow merch in TNN as you enter from the north gates. Go straight ahead upon entering TNN. It's the same building with the healer upstairs.

What you do is right click on your arrow icon from your paperdoll screen, and place it on an empty slot in your taskbar.

Target your enema, and click to load, click again to fire. Draw real weapon and beat the bejebus out of him when he arrives.

Ok, so I went to town bought some arrows. went to find something easy in case I really screwed up. I dragged the bow on the paper doll, it changed to the bow. I clicked on the arrows in my backpack and put them on my quickbar. I targeted a badger and clicked on the arrow. It saide I couldn't use them? I tried dragging the arrows on to the paper doll and it said I couldn't "ready them". Does the arrow type matter? All of the arrows at the merchant conned gray, so I figured it didn't matter. Any thoughts?

You click on the bow icon while you've got something targeted. It takes about 4 seconds to aim. Once it says you've aimed, click on the bow again and it shoots.

Don't worry about the arrows. If they're in your pack, they get used automatically.

yar , put your bow , melee weapon and shield up on the quickbar ... then you select your target and hit the bow key 3 times , you can do it 3 times right in a row , you dont have to wait for each step to finish ... then it will say whether the target is in or out of range , and sometimes it will say you cant see your target , and very rarely you will fumble the attack , outside of thos things happening what will ahppen is you will draw your bow , load and aim , and shoot ...

after you fire , click on the keys to draw your melee weapon and shield again and you are good to go ...
