iPod

Hey guys! What can you tell me about the iPod.. ? I have been so sucked into the game that I have let the rest of technology pass me by.. heheh.. Actually I am thinking about buying one for the hubby and I wondered how they work. I know they have their own store but can you upload tunes off your personal computer as well that you already have from your own CD's?

Any help is appreciated!

I love my iPod.

I've had a bunch of different mp3 players over the years, but my iPod is far and away the best I've had.

You can put any mp3s on it that you have on your computer and your CDs and stuff you buy online.

It's small, it's light, it's VERY well made - I've dropped mine on concrete several times (accidentally) and it just keeps working. Mine has great battery life. It has great sound. Plus I have a little radio tuner thing that I attach when I get in the car. Then I plug it into speakers at work. And I use the earpieces when I grocery shop.

I love me some iPod, too. I use mine all the time and it really opened my CD collection back up to me. I've ripped over 300 CD's into mine plus bought some music from iTunes. It's great to know that "more cowbell" is always only a couple of clicks of the wheel away :)

they're a great product. just make sure you stick with the regular ass kicking ipod instead of those gimmicky mini ipods or the "shuffle".

The mini-ipod sucks. You have to go with at least a 20gig.

They are for the homosexual and metrosexual community as well as the wannabe hipsters. Make sure you get extra lube with your ipod because being part of the ipod club gets you other things besides mp3's that I wish not discuss here because it may be too graphic and somebodies children may be watching. Also, once you join the ipod club everything you own from that point forward will need to begin with the letter "i" such as the icar, or the isocks. Your life will be totally different, you will begin to really really care about your looks, and invest much time and money into purchasing lovely pastel colored colored shirts with cute belts that match you shoes and your socks will most definately match your t-shirts. Wait, I mean your isocks will match your it-shirts.

i've got an ipod mini, due to budget reasons mostly, and not having enough mp3s to justify the extra cash. love it though, and i'll more than likely get a 20 or 40gb ipod if i find myself better for cash and needing more than 4gb any time

looks like a 'real deal' with more features than the ipod. Unlike the whip ass AMD chips, I cant comment on the iriver personally but it looks cool. It plays movies!

At least DivX have stopped including spyware in their "free download". I think they even feel bad since they're offering google toolbar in the download now...
