I'm trying to host custom games in WC3 but apparently my firewall is blocking the connections. Any advice on how to find and open these ports is appreciated, I don't even know if its my comp or the cable modem.

You need to know the ports it uses. Probably in the readme file.
Do you have a router between your cable modem and your computer?
What firewall do you have? (Windows Service Pack 2?)

It uses ports 6112-6119. The default port is 6112.
No. It goes from my computers, to my hub, to cable modem, to cable. I have no idea whether the modem has a firewall or not.

when you say hub, do you really mean hub? or switch or router?
Cable modems usually only support one device directly attached to it (requires a router to support more) - they can support more than one at a time, however usually each PC would get a public IP.
I can help out a lot easier. Hook up with me on MSN.

Yeah, it's just a 4 port hub that I picked up to put all the computers on the internet here at the house. Simple deal really, although for some reason once or twice a day the internet stops working and i have to unplug it and then plug it back in for everything to be dandy again.
