Ouch at prices

I just priced out my next level of equipment from the merchants. (Of course, I'll go player made. But I haven't priced there yet. I know it will be cheaper.)

Anyway, the next level of reinforced armor: 64 gp
Next level for 3 instruments: 53 gp
I haven't even checked a new mace and shield yet. :eek:

Will I be upgrading equipment as much in the future as I have been? I certainly hope not. It will take me 2 more levels to save that much! lol

After a couple weeks of looking for someone who could make a hauberk for me, I had to buy one from an npc. Cost me around 160gp for the damn thing.

Makes me wanna be an eldritch or something.

At your lvl you should easily find a player in TNN who can make what you need. Type /br looking for (place armour equipment here)

Gah I haven't even looked at what my next set will cost... I wish they had a "robbery" skill where I could just clobber all of you rich players over the head and take your hard earned money. :)

I haven't bought anything in forever. At first I was lucky enough to get Muro's hand me downs (which Ele and Ailia and others now all have) when I started catching up to Muro I began finding things in dungeons. Yeah, there was a LOT of luck involved. And sometimes you have to be willing to speak up for yourself and explain that an item that cons orange to you and give empathy (which gives us druids healing juice) would be more useful to you than to a character that it cons purple or green to and doesn't use empathy.

Everything I am wearing (except gloves) at almost level 38 is still orange or yellow to me, and its all items I have found dungeoning. The only think I am hurting for right now is gloves. Mine are green. :/ But they are druid gloves with nice bonuses so I still think I would rather keep them they buy gloves. If they turn grey before I find a nice glove drop, I will buy store gloves.

Aillia. I have reinforced armor and a drum for you. :) Both found in dungeons.

All the monsters in TC are orange or below to me now. So if any of you need items, we can go there and with just a little help I should be able to slaughter them pretty fast so we can get drops at a decent enough pace. The exp won't be fantastic, but our exp bars will be moving in the right direction and odds are you will leave the dungeon with SOMETHING you can use, even if we dont find exactly what you are looking for. :)

Morety, you gotta spend some time in the Pit. :) Stuff that drops there would be red/orange for you. I don't have any because when I was in parties and tank stuff dropped, the tanks got it. You will also level like a maniac in the pit. I went from like 33 to 36 in a few nights down there.

rofl... i have tons of money.. well not tons but i don't need to spend it on anything.... armor as eld... does not mean much and all my equipment have some sort of bonus on it cept for gloves and leggings... the only thing i have below yellow though are my boots which turned gray a long time ago...

anyhoo... if you ever need any money... i'll be happy to give it to you.. because elds don't buy armor too much... and it's not really that worth it... i can wait till lvl 40 to buy new armor.... heh....

I remember farming with my guild for ages in Spraggon Den to get the 300 gold for the guild emblem. we were all like totally broke afterwards

I spent way to much time farming coin to get the guild emblem for the first guild I GMed... god that sucked.
