DTS is like dolby digital, but 'better'. You need a dvd player with one built in (and 5-6.1 output) or a reciever with one built in (with 5-6.1 output) or a signal processor in your home theater with capability to decode dts.

I don't know of any computer hardware that does dts (i'm sure there is high end stuff that does it though).

If it were me i'd just pop it in my dvd player as my reciever does DTS.

or , or and? my dvd player does support it, but the sound wont work when i try to run it, im running it straight through the tv so no receiever but im not using the digital coaxial, if i use the digital coaxial will that make it playable?

does your dvd player do the sound processing and output 5.1? or does it just output stereo if you don't use the digital (coax or optical). If just stereo, then it's likely that it can't handle 'downcoding' the DTS to stereo like they can with dolby (if i remember correctly)
