I think my tenure with DAoC is almost over. Im not sure I will even buy Catacombs even though it looks interesting. I can see lots of WoW topics here and little else. Anyone playing Guildwars or others. Is there anything remotely different from the DAOC style of play?

If the game is same as Daoc, i may as well buy catacombs and continue, with my support system established.

I play Halo2 on xbox live. It rocks hard. Can turn on the xbox, play a bunch of games sittin on the couch. Then turn it off all in like 30 minutes. No time sink, no treadmill, just good times. What a relief it is.

U dont even have a xbox. U screwed up and bought a POS2. So of course you're gonna have a bias against Halo because it kicks the shit out of anything on the POS2.

Just finishing off Fable and Ninja Gaiden on the xbox. PC I'm playing DoW and HL2:DM (killing people with a flying radiator rocks).
Might give the new prince of persia a whirl, but I think I will rent it first because all of the reviews that I've read seem to have the same view about the first game that I had (it was the platforming along with the setting that was the best bit, the fighting was just a bit on the side), and all have stated that the second iteration has concentrated on the combat side of it and gone all dark/brooding.

Im currently playing EQ2 on Permafrost if ya wanna shoot me tell cross server or somethin Cavan. Other then the servers coming down so often, its not a bad game. Right now my main toon is named Ahriman, lvl. 35 Wizard who rocks.

Just defragged my sys. so hopefully it will improve fps in towns and stuff.

Yeah, but people who dont play always cry about how the elvaan characters look. Not to mention this game is now three years old and was originally designed for PS2.

I think the models are really well done, as well as the texturing.
