In Baghdad, some 3,000 protesters peacefully demanded the release of seven followers of Shiite Ayatollah Mahmoud al-Hassani, who had been detained by U.S. forces in the past week.

amid a article of the latest fights, wounded and kidnappings i saw this. it struck me and i wanted to share.
it made me feel good that these people are now able to share a freedom i'm sure most of us take for granted.
i dont really care what they are protesting, its the fact that they can.
