Hammer and I went to a bar last night and decided to go ahead and declare victory around 7:30pm EST. So, we aren't really in any shape to gloat at this point. I'll try to build up some gloating strength for later in the week. :p

I live in Ohio... and hopefully Kerry conceeds today...
He's currently down by 134,000 votes.. and they are having trouble finding 134,000 provisional ballots... :O
Not to mention that usually in the State of Ohio.. 90% of the ballots are valid.. then you must factor in that the split usually runs with the state numbers...
I'd like to see Kerry conceeds today....
(Edited for Typos.... I working on 2 hours sleep... :) )

Why gloat? Bush wins, life goes on. In 4 years, we get two brand new canidates to fight it out while everyone points fingers at each other and fights about who's canidate is better.
The circle continues and we keep plugging along. *shrugs*

I can't recall the last time and election had two brand new candidates... it was before Ford.... and that's the first President I remember...

Cavan, I meant that they obviously won't have to worry about Bush in the next one. Nor, will we probably have Kerry. I mean really, they would have to be kinda desperate to try Kerry again in 4 years.

I just wanted Bush to win so that fat arrogant michael moore has nothing to be happy about. Now that stupid asshole can shut his fat mouth because no matter what propoganda he decides to put out there it DOESNT MATTER!!!

There is a great scene in Team America where MM blows himself up and a shower of ham pieces rains down.

Hopefully today after 2pm EST... we'll have a better picture into the ACTUAL number of provisional ballots in the State of Ohio...
Ken Blackwell , Secretary of State of Ohio, has asked that all 88 Countries of Ohio report the number of Provisional Ballots they have in their possession.
I believe this number has to be in the realm of 175,000 ballots... if it is not... then I believe Senator John Kerry should concede.

i havn't the slightest clue what ya mean by brand new candidates, as i see it anyone that hasn't run for president before is a new candidate (gore, bush jr.) But i guess ya mean not in political office at the time of election or never have been, and i kinda doubt some dude could be a walkon presidential candidate.
Yea today i'm laughing my ass off at moore, i hate that dumbass. Says he has a documentary but it's not a true documentary, and moreso propaganda.
So this time around, bush won some odd 30-35 states and kerry won roughly 15-20 states. Bushie got 51%, kerry 48% on popular vote. And bush of course just barely scrapes by with 270 electorial votes with kerry having just a lil less. My question is, theres been a lot of talk here recently of states spliting their electorial votes and such, and i'd be interested in seeing how it woulda all turned out had every state split their votes according to percent of votes recieved per candidate.

And you know the last time a democrat actually won the majority of the popular vote was Carter vs Ford. :p
Clinton didn't win the popular vote?
Actually, didn't Gore win the popular vote 4 years ago?

Roosters talking about winning a majority of the popular vote, which Al didnt manage, he only got 48.38% of the popular vote.
The last president to actually win a majority of the popular vote was Bush Sr. and the last democrat was Carter.
