Does anyone else have this problem? My connection has been verrrry poopy lately, but it's happened to me 3 times tonight when Grundy and I are playing on the same connection. I go linkdead and he doesn't. Could anything else be causing this?

turn off ICQ, run ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com)...

turn off mIRC...

try those... not sure how much it will help - but we never go LD (we have DSL).

I go link dead all the time on Nimue server so I'm not playing it anymore, besides, I have to level dilaree

i go link dead a few times. not running anything else but pc cillin and Doac.
Seems to be worse lately.

I ran that utility that you suggested, and there were many obvious things to remove. But I'm not sure what this stuff is. Do you know?

It's not you. There was a message posted on the IGN boards last week about them getting DDoS'd at various times causing routers in their building to crash.

Happened to me as well for a day or so, once last night, but seems ok now.
