Thanks to Boomy and Cobra and RetardedApe who took me to the scary bad places where I got eaten up by a mean horse, died twice by ugly rock creatures, and hmmmm....I died one other time by something...but I don't know what it was. Those bad guys just had to look at me real mean and I just fell over dead! :)

That was the funniest thing I've ever seen: me, Arboc and Boomy all lying on the ground, yelling for help. :rolly: OMG that was so much fun!

And before that, Kronk (Cobey), Morety, Grundy and me teamed up with some other people to kill some of those little tree guys. Little Morety would pull (a little notice next time please :p), I would try to mez the extras that came along, and everyone would let them have it!! OMG!! That was great!! Up until then, all I had done in a group was just heal. Heal, heal, heal.

But trying to keep up with Morety's pulls, stay rested, mez fast enough so that everyone knew that the bad guy was mezzed, keep 5 people healed (wasn't always successful at that :D ) , type "hellllllp get him off me" when I had to......phew!!!! That was some busy busy good fun!!

I gotta say, my first gazillion bazillion hours spent playing haven't been all that thrilling. But yesterday I had a blast! :D

Oh yeah.....I CAN REZ NOW!!! Someone hurry up and die so I can try it out. ;) Though, I doubt I'd be able to find you. My sense of direction is the p00p! Someone is gonna hafta teach me how to use the /loc thing. :)

First number is east-west. It gets higher as you go east. Second number is north-south, it gets higher as you go south. So if you were looking at a map, the top left corner would be 0,0 and the bottom right corner would be 99999,99999. The third number is height, ignore it. :D

So if I am at 24323, 42500 and you are at 45329, 33879, you would have to go south-west to find me. About 20000 units west and 9000 units south.

That dungeon was fun. :D I've been in 3 dungeons so far and that one is the toughest by far. I've been in the tomb near ardeee (easiest one I've seen), the Sprag Den (much tougher than ardee) and TC, the place we were at last night.

Its funny, when Alli wasn't there, the tanks needed to rest after every kill. When we had Alli, we could just kill kill kill with no rest. And when she LD, everyone was like "Damn, we were spoiled when we had Alli here. Level 9 bard totally changed the way a group of 5 level 28 characters played. :D

Dungeons, in order of difficulty:

Muire Tomb - NW of Ardee, level 10 or so

Spraggon Den - West of Ardagh, level 20 or so I think

Koalinth Caverns - WAY west of Tir Na Nog, level 20 or so, not itemized, and kinda bummer of a dungeon, currently

Treibh Caltih (sp) aka TC - west of Innis Carthag, level 30+, itemized, currently a haven since most of the high levels are in the Mines

Coruscating Mines (sp) aka the Mines - NW of the barn in East Lough Derg, recently itemized, most high levels are here raping this place for all it's worth trying to get the item drops. Typcially 40+ ppl in here on a given night, while TC has.... 8, maybe.

My compass doesn't work cuz I have a Voodoo 3. I downloaded the Omega drivers like the tech support page says, but still no compass. So I use /d as a rough compass. It gets the job done. I can't really complain. Im pretty happy that daoc runs as smoothly as it does on a vidcard that stopped being supported over a year ago :D

You don't need to know how maps read anymore. You just need to do /faceloc.
eg. /faceloc 21000 42000
Then hit run. No comma between numbers and use all zeros.
