Gee too bad NPR is Liberal, you won't be able to believe anything they air in the broadcast with your fiance.

No, I can believe what my Fiancee says, but I'm worried they are going to ambush her with some loaded questions. Anyone know what time she's on?

Emily Harris is one of their reporters I bleev. She doesn't have a scheduled interview show, but rather does reports. You might try listening for her in the morning on their morning show, Morning Edition, or in the evening on All Things Considered. Head to npr.org for info on scheduling.

I sent the bio from the reporter to my Fiancee already.

I'll see if she can find the time when it will be broadcast.

Even though NPR does lean left, they are not know for ambusing or using loaded questions. You should listen a little, though you may disagree with thier slant, you should be relieved that they are one of the most ethical in the business, and that they save the tough questions for interviewees who should expect the tough questions.

Her name is Fiancee. :)

She is a Captain in a Combat Stress Control team. Her job is Suicide prevention. She doesn't like it when I give out her name online. :( I'd love to post a picture of us, but she doesn't like that either.

With that job I can understand why she dosen't want her name and picture out there.

She will most likly get some easy questions like what is the US military doing to deal with combat stress and prevent suicide. She might get some harder questions about suicide rates and prevention of suicide after the war. I suspect the military would not allow this interview (since NPR most likely went through them to get her name), if they didn't feel she could handle it and weren't going to brief her ahead of time.

Sort of off-topic, but not really, what happened to all those reporters who were embeded into military units, I don't think I have heard any reports from any of them recently.

swifty, normally I don't care, but since i saw it like 30 times in this thread

FIANCÉ

if you don't know how to do the accented e, don't just add another one, please.

How do you accent the e?

Also, I put it into word processor and it came back Fiancée

The military ran low on rations. :)

It's not that much news anymore, so there are only a few left. My Fiancé(e)'s unit was supposed to have one and that person got pulled.

How do you accent the e?

hold down the ALT key and type in 130 on the numeric keypad for é, or 144 for É =)

Actually:
FIANCÉ: Masculine form

FIANCÉE: Feminine form

Swifty was correct to use 2 e's, but one needs a reflexive accent to be totally accurate. ;)

Well I'll be damned. I never knew there were two of em, probably because they are pronounced EXACTLY the same. Stupid french language and it's overabundance of unnecessary letters!
