This is for you physicists and aeronautic junkies.

There was a great audio piece called "Demystifying the Science of Flight" on NPR Science Friday (http://www.npr.org/rundowns/rundown.php?prgId=5&prgDate=27-Aug-2004)that breaks a myth on how wings create lift for flight. The guest, David Andersen, explains his ideas from his book "Understanding Flight". (http://www.aa.washington.edu/faculty/eberhardt/Book.htm)

Good stuff. This would also affect sailing too since boats use the same principle of lift.
