View Full Version : IE Status bar!!!

There some setting to get the status bar to stay up? My IE opens up maximized and everything but the status bar on the bottom never comes up, no big deal but it annoys me. I turn it on through the view menu up top but it never stays that way next time.

Thnx! I saw the fix at the bottom that gave the registry entry, so I decided to add that in manually. The registry looked a little crowded tho so I deleted a bunch of stuff, nothing works now but the status bar is there when IE opens! ;)

lol, yeah, you don't want to delete registry entries unless you know what it's for. don't get in the habit of messing around in your registry.

lol.. yeah, knowing Riddick, I definitely would have said, STAY AWAY from the registry. :p

Was joking ya weirdo's, hence the "nothing works now but IE status bar stays" comment :laugh:

I had plenty of experience with the registry with ARDE Roo :D

this bug is fixed in XP SP2, I was surprised =)
