Qway, calling shrooms dumb is being too kind. They would need a lot of work to get up to dumb. Example, they can't cast through walls, but they target things on other sides of walls and try to cast anyway. I have 15 shrooms in amg box room. A mid opens the door and walks in. I should start getting tons of pet spam as the 15 shrooms start casting at that one mid standing 2 feet in front of him. I get ZERO pet spam because the shrooms are all targetting mids outside the room and trying to cast on them. Omg! You can't cast through walls! Stop trying! You can't hit the troll outside! Hit the savage that is kicking my ass!!!

You are kinda right Phaleux, but with a twist. If my shrooms pull the mob, then your shrooms start hitting it, technically you are hitting my pull, which is against ToS. Then again, the griefer could say that his shrooms pulled the mob and the first guy's shrooms were then hitting it. I don't know how you can determine whose shrooms got the first hit, so the obvious answer is that the first animist to drop shrooms at the camp is pulling and the second animist is hitting his pulls (while this may not be technically exactly right, its the fair answer. It may not be the exact letter of the ToS but its certainly the spirit of the ToS).

The funny thing is, when I griefed Lakeshow at wees, I was not violating ToS by any definition. They did not have an animist there. I shroomed the place up so my shrooms were hitting the abbys the instant they spawned. If they hit ANY abby they would be violating ToS. They had no basis to appeal me because I never ever hit a mob that they pulled. The fact that they were there first meant nothing. If they also had an animist I would think that I would be violating the spirit of ToS, since they had it set up to hit mobs as they spawn then I dropped pets to hit the same mobs. But according to that CSR in the screeny, I would be doing nothing wrong.

Oh, there was a very easy way to deal with that greifer. The legitimate fin group should have all logged, or just ran away. Their shrooms would have pooped out, the griefers shrooms would have kept on pulling. One animist with a powerfont bot cannot handle fin tree. Once the main groups shrooms pooped out, the fins would have killed the griefer in about 2 seconds. They would have killed his powerfont bot too because of powerfont aggro so he couldn't rez. Then the main group just go back to the tree and resume.

If he was planting his shrooms back from the tree so they wouldn't pull fins, but just hit the fins the others had pulled, then just let the main groups shrooms die, and have a ranger pull a fin. Shrooms will pull the fins off the ranger instantly and kill the griefer animist and his bot. And the ranger then should be able to appeal because the griefer shrooms were not pulling fins, but were only hitting his pulls.

Btw, I know a much much much better way to greif at fin tree. But I don't want to post it.

Should be easier now. If the original fins group is pulling and hitting with shrooms and the griefer tries to set up some of his. Just wait till the griefer has out a few shrooms, cast less than him to pull, then release clump and let his shrooms steal the aggro. Or something to that effect.
