Here's another ideology quiz I found. It's much shorter than the Political Compass, so it's obviously superior. ;)

http://www.self-gov.org/quiz.html

I'm a Centrist on this one ... barely. 50% Personal and 20% Economic on the scale, right on the intersection of the centrist, left liberal, and authoritarian lines. :o

Here's a site that will make your pick for the Presidential election based on your responses.

http://www.selectsmart.com/president/

They matched me at 70% for Kerry and 31% for Bush. Phew, I'm glad that decision is made. ;)

HaHA! On the first test, I scored Left-Libertarian and on the second test, my score for Kerry was 79% and Bush was 2%. But I coulda told you that. ;)

It's kinda what I thought, 79% libertarian (Gary Nolan?) and 45% Bush... /me sighs

http://www.dailyillini.com/news/1634 <- I love you Gary Nolan!

I'm left-libertarian.

Shockingly though: I'm John Kerry - 52% Bush 24%

That worries me.

Don't worry, Fig. That places you squarely in the quandry I'm sure a LOT of Americans find themselves in right now.

According to your answers, your political philosophy is on the border of right-conservative and libertarian.

Your Personal Self-Government Score is 50%.
Your Economic Self-Government Score is 90%.

2. Bush, President George W. - Republican (80%) Click here for info
3. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (51%) Click here for info

Geeze 51% for Kerry, what did I answer wrong!

Bush came out slightly ahead for me, somewhere in the low to mid 60's%.

Also came up centrist on the other thing, which is about what I expected.

Hehe, Canidae. That other quiz had you closer to Kerry than Bush. Methinks these quizzes aren't as accurate as I first suspected! ;)

Your Personal Self-Government Score is 90%.
Your Economic Self-Government Score is 60%.

Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat 54%
Bush, President George W. - Republican 30%

As you can see, neither current candidate represents me...does that mean I don't have to pay taxes (no taxation without representation baby! ;))

The first quiz, just like the same one I took before, the questions are basically slanted AWAY from conservative responses because you'd basically have to be a blind-nut case to pick them to get conservative marks. Even medium answers lean left. And the questions really are too vague to provide true determination of intent.

And yes I know its a REALLY short quiz.

i dunno they seem pretty accurate so far

1st one is full of biased, leading questions (moreso the results are skewed by the limited available options)
