Ricky*Played by Robb Wells.

Following his release from prison, Ricky was a rich man, thanks to the huge sale he and pal Julian made to the prison guards at the end of the previous season.

But no matter how hard Julian tried to convince poor Ricky to invest his money in solid business enterprises, the coiffed crusader took things in another direction – he spent it all in a matter of days. Sure, he was back to being penniless (and having had to "kiss" and make up with Mr. Lahey in the process), but his actions didn't go unrewarded. The set of encyclopaedias he bought for Trinity proved to his daughter and to Lucy that he really does have a lot of love for his family. This huge act of kindness moved Lucy so much that she dropped the child support lawsuit she had filed against him.

Over the course of last season Ricky saw his life move in strange and unexpected ways. From being on the right side of the law as Temporary Relief Assistant Trailer Park Supervisor (during Randy's suspension), to his irreverent attempt at litigation (while defending himself in court, no less), to concert promoter extraordinaire to Alex Lifeson kidnapper, the last year was one heck of a wild ride.

Boasting a neatly coiffed helmet head and bearing an eerie resemblance to The Raveen, Ricky sure is a loyal friend, especially to Bubbles and Julian. A slick player in sticky situations, Ricky does rely too heavily for common sense on the more "book-learned" Julian, but, hey, isn't that what friends are for?

Bubbles*Played by Mike Smith.

Last year was a harrowing yet exciting time for Bubbles. He started off on an upbeat note by welcoming his best friends home to Sunnyvale, and by receiving a killer new shed from Julian. Then, he experienced some truly excruciating lows with the near fatal Sgt Meowenstein incident and his early dismissal from the Temporary Relief Assistant Trailer Park Supervisor testing. He capped the year, however, with a couple of life altering experiences: playing Closer to the Heart live on stage with his musical hero Alex Lifeson of RUSH and setting sail on an exotic cruise.

On the surface Bubbles may appear a little offbeat; he wears glasses with lenses that could harness the sun to melt through a bike lock, and he has an eerie fondness for shopping carts and pink unicorn posters. Deep down inside, though, the man who now lives in the best-equipped shed in Sunnyvale possesses an uncanny ability to solve problems, nurture cats and repair shopping carts.

The dude with one of the most lovable smiles in the Sunnyvale is known as Bubbles because of his most prized possession: a 1961 Electro-Bubblemaker, the only thing his parents left him when they abandoned him at an early age.

Throughout his checkered past Bubbles has (almost) acted in a porno, mastered Plato, set up an elaborate shopping cart ring, become the proud parent to a gaggle of stray cats and been the reliable go-to guy for Ricky and Julian.

SHOWCASE: What do you think of your newfound fame?

BUBBLES: Do you mean because of From Russia With The Lovebone?

SHOWCASE: You ever watch movies? If so, what's your favourite movie of all time and why?

BUBBLES: J-Roc got me a DVD player somewhere, so I've been watching movies a lot. I like a lot of the movies J-Roc makes. I like Charlie Chaplin too. And the Three Stooges when Moe puts that other f-k's head in the leather press and cranks the f--ng thing down to teach him a lesson. But when Moe does it, it's not mean, it's funny.

SHOWCASE: What movie star or historical figure do you most resemble?

BUBBLES: I don't know. Some people told me I looked like Tom Cruise one time but I think those f-kers were probably just making fun of me.
