Laoeloan Buffsalot
31st level Celt Druid

this... "gentleman" removed some items from the guild vault (no biggie), proceeded to /rude me, left the guild, logged, logged back in, and /slap'd me...

I booted him from the house, obviously....
If I learn of any other alts, etc, I'll let you all know....

seems like things like that happen every day now.

perhaps we should create a sticky moderated list of persons like that so the guild leaders just check their rooster for those names every now and then.

Actually that's not too bad an idea, for a while I had a "Blacklist" on my officer's forums of people who should not recieve invites, etc.. but I deleted it since we do a pretty thourough screening too...
What threw us for a loop was taht the guy'd been w/ us for a couple months and nary a problem, then all the sudden last night he's spouting obscenities in /as, etc etc, we're like "ok wth?"

A sticky of "questionable" Hibs would definitely be useful.

With this one day dramatic shift in personality, it makes me wonder if someone new was controlling the account.

It's possible, but still something to keep a lookout on...
he claims to be 10 years old.. and if that's the case. uh, ok 10 yr olds should NOT be talking like that, I'm sorry... I'd be hauling off w/ a bar of soap if my kids talked like that at 10 ;)
our first thought was that it was someone else @ keys.. but it's rather a moot point now, as, whoever has control now (or did that day) is very far from trustable or desirable in a guild...
i mean unless you LIKE someone spouting off cursing at random and all that jazz...

We also had another person who may or may not be an alt of his.. Fueloal (i think that's right).. last night claimed his account'd bee strippe dby his brother, and that he had not played in a year... I looked on my records and saw that (obvisouly he'd not been w/ us a year since april 5th is our bday) he'd been on March 11th...
So I mentioned it to him and he left the guild...
so we don't know what's in the water, but we've gone months w/o a single problem from anyone LOL and before this month I'd only booted 1 person out of the guild in nearly a year....
