Posted on the Herald.
I glanced at it and the 2 things that really stuck out in my mind (I only had like 5 minutes to look at it so far) is the New Bard Class Specific ability sounds cool (to me, at least). And the Nightshade Class Specific Ability looks like it pales in comparison to the Shadowblade and Infiltrator Abilities. I dont play either classes but those are the two things that stuck out for me.
Now to take another look (haven't really taken a good look at what VWs get yet)

i probably won't be getting RP again, and I won't be getting MoC either
MotArts is gone now, that sucks.
Looks like i get to buy a lot of passives to increase my damage. Oh and an evil twin.

My initial reaction is positive. Picking up some stuff for the ranger that will just come for free. Also, I love the eldritch special ability. I can't count the hundreds of times that a 10 second burst of uninterruptable extreme speed would have come in handy.
Gotta get Gondo and Jammerr to RR5 asap.

the change to MCL will prolly affect both PVE and PvP quite a bit.
But i fear esp. PvE will slow down due to that.

I posted this in a thread on my guild website on a discussion of your proposed changes. I play hibernia incase you cant tell from my thoughts:

The class specific is still bullshit. Albion still is way over powered in comparison. a Wizzard nuking like mad at 3 second tics will kill anything around it at 400 a tic, and a Enchanter pet doing the same basic thing at 50 damage a tic? thats bullshit.
oh and Eldritches get to run away as the wizzard kills them...nice one mythic.
the NightShade ability vs the Infiltrator ability is just utter bullshit. Do you really think we are that stupid and think these in comparison are fair?
way to go mythic, you said you were gonna try to balance your unbalanced game more, and you are intent on keeping it unbalanced.
if frontiers comes out and they dont make any more significant balancing on the class specifics, and Blizzards World of Warcraft comes out and aint full of as much bullshit when it comes to balancing, I will probably switch games permanently.

get it together mythic, your class specific things are always biased and unbalanced. Your game will always be unfair if you do this because you favor albion so much in everything you do.
should I cancel my account now or wait to see if you get off your albion favoritism and balance this game finally?

I agree, the class specific ones need a little more research. Good thing this is only a proposal.
The Minstrel one is just too anti-animist...crazy.
There are others too, but I don't want to get into a long discussion about preliminary ideas. Ill save that for my feedback to Mythic.

i think the one good thing is that there will be plenty of different ways for people to spec their RAs since there are so many different options, and some are so damn expensive

Shades get screwed, low rank casters get screwed, alb stealth squads gets buffed
vales get a crappier version of a crappy ra and lose mastery of arms?
I dunno, overall I think its just a continuation of the stupidity that went into buff shearing.

NSes = useless now
new Determination = useless = me stands arround all the time as usually
new IP = useless = me dies even sooner as used to
no AP anymore :(
Dual Threat = nice for offensive hybrids, but NSes should get it too as there is no WA anymore.
Badge of Champion is nice, but too short in duration.
I think Iam gonna get WotC at level 3. it still sucks badly, but maybe I can screw some ppl with it for fun.
like I run into the alb warder zerg. hit Banelord 2 (10% damage toa albs), hit Banelord 8 (me drops down to 25% health, but albs drop down 50% more). Then hit WotC and do 600-700 damage to them.
wonder if thats enough to kill stuff. will have to test it on Pend when frontiers goes open beta.
will die quickly (nothing new to me), but may at least go down with a few RPs more.
Well, the more I look at it, the more I think I need to build a TOA template for Brey and get him some ML's.
Looks like Moecha was a waste of time once they put this in.

Imagine though, with the new Viper, SB and Infy will now potentially do 2x damage with dots if they invest in it. NS now have the ability to completely nullify this, which is great and all but considering what the infy and sb get, it's a little out there.
Also add to the fact that archers are just gonna completely rule the stealth game with the new additions...
It'd be awsome if they added MoArms for LW spec'd folks like they're doing with Volley. Or something FREE that other classes can benefit from.

Bedazzling Aura of Deflection - Absorbs damage for the group by the listed amount for 30 seconds.
Is this magic only or all damage? If so, I'm taking this all the damn way!

Banelord ML8 takes 30% of enemy health/end/pow without hurting the caster. Think when they changed it to work only in PvP they removed the damage to caster.
SO basically inc enemy zerglets of say 1800 hitpoints (decent average I think)...
Banelord ML8 cast.. drops them all to 1260
Banelord ML2 cast.. drops them all to 1134
Cast WotC for say 700 damage.. drops them all to 434
Not a bad combo :D Might have to try that myself.. of course if the two of us did this combo at the same time... muhuhuhaah = dead zerg

I'm really surprised that they added class specific stuff. No way you can come with 3 unique RA's for each class type that deliver the same value. In each class there is a clear loser. Either make them all available or do away with them. How many NS would take the poison immunity over the 1 shot kill RA? For the record I think the Armsman got screwed. I think your eld got screwed though Gondo. A running caster helps no one.

Banelord 2 is on a 5 minute timer with ML5 and ML9 (both of which dont seem to do anything)
Banelord 8 is on on a timer with ML3 and ML7... Banelord 8 has a 10 minute timer i think. ML3 and ML7 have a 5 minute timer. So using ML3 or ML7 reset the timer for 5 minutes to use any of the 3 again, but using ML8 resets the timer for 10 minutes to use one of the others (if that makes sense). I am going off the top of my head here, since most of the posted stufgf about Banelord is wrong. BTW, ML7 doesnt seem to do anything either
So, no they are on seperate timers.
In conclusion, basically Banelord ML5, ML7, ML9, and from what I hear ML10 do not do anything :D The Banelord skills that do work are pretty nice (almost too well), lol. I have done decent amount of testing, but if someone else thinks otherwise, I would love to see some testing results.

30 points is too much for me, I have too many other things to make it possible for me to fight - like 15 points for MCL2
plus I need passives or I won't do enough damage to kill stuff

I'm probably gonna go with Purge 2, BAoD 2, Ichor 2, aug str 3, mop 3 and whatever other pre-reqs I'll need.
15 points for MCL2 is really bugging me. I mean my toon is almost unplayable without MCL2. When I make it to RR4, half my RA points will be dumped into MCL2. That's just way too many points for an ability that is not a "nice bonus" but an essential part of the class.
Yeah, I know I can now use it every 3 minutes instead of every 5 minutes, but that does me no good. 5 min was just fine and dandy. Remember, shrooms keep me in combat. 5 min timer was enough to let me use MCL after every fight. A shorter timer, so that MCL is up during the fight, does me no good, I still can't use it till the fight is over. I would much rather keep my 9 RA point MCL2 with the 5 min timer than this 15 point MCL2 with the 3 min timer. Maybe Ill just get MCL1 for 5 points. 25% mana every 3 min is like 50% mana ever 6 min, which is almost as good as 60% mana every 5 min, so I guess I can live with that.
I also just noticed that every RR5 ministrel gets a free anti-animist spell.

Heh, you just noticed that? But wait, you can turn yourself into a shroom and then be rooted and die as the zerg runs straight to you in a patch and beats on you!

or WotC3 instead of Dual Threat.
actually I want WotC3 and Dual Threat 3 + Purge 1. but that is 7L5 :(

There are no pre-reqs anymore...at all. Saw A TL mention it on the Frontiers board on VN. :cheese:
