From 1.68I on the herald today...
"- We have replaced the Silver Aura charge on the Snakecharmer's Whip, Snakecharmer's Greave, Snakecharmer's Scythe with a damage shield. The Silver Aura spell was, under certain cases, causing players to not receive credit for completing encounters. We will be adjusting the spell in a future patch to give the weapons a more appropriate ability."
When I read this I thought to myself, hmmm, a more appropriate ability, what could be an appropriate ability for a Snake Charmers weapon...hmmm, Snake...Charmer.
Would be cool if they could work in a way for Snakecharmer users to actually have a controllable pet snake. Either charm one or summon one. Or put some kind of poison attribute on the weapon...
But then I thought, "nah, I'm thinking too logically".
Seeing a patch note like this just makes me think of the word 'nerf'. I mean, if you're gonna put a temporary ability on this Artifact while you think of a way to nerf it, at least make the ability close to what the original ability was, like lifedrain or something. Damage Shield? pffft.
