Aye, Rooster, intriguing isn't it? Not every day you see wood and dark elves being friends, let alone engaged to be married. :) Roleplaying is far from dead, but it does sway drastically away from stereotypes at times.

They're not just stereotypes... :D

They hate each others guts for a reason. They were raised from birth that way. Not every dark elf is a Drizz't. :D

Im an OOOOLD school mmorpg'r

Meridian59 was the first graphical mud. It sucked quiet a few years of my life ;p

I was in beta 2 for EQ, thats the last time that game was fun. only 800 total ppl...server had 200 or so on at once ;)

I was in Beta 1 of EQ.. when Brad was all excited about having 60 people on the server.. 3 of us in a zone trying to figure out who was causing the lag. :D

I played commercial for a few months..then sold my char.. the camping just kills me after a while :/


Shadowbane will roxxor tho.. much shorter time to build chars..and then WAR WAR WAR.. build your own city.. destroy someone else's with catapults WEWT! gottta love that :)

I still play EQ for a couple reasons. I've got really great friends and a great guild, and DAoC runs like shite on my comp. My K62-400 is below the 450 minimum, and there's simply no way for me to afford an upgrade right now, especially if it included a video card.

So, unless my friends leave, or I somehow scrape together enough moolah to leave this piece of junk far behind, I'll keep at it.
