They have changed the encryption/data stream from clear text (morons been like this for 2 years) and DAOCSkilla no longer works at all. The guy who made DAOCSkilla to be a thorn in the side of Mythic due to their total ignoring of this problem, he has vowed not to update his program (because he cant without redoing the whole thing in DirectX Im guessing). He claims his whole intent was to make them fix this flaw anyways. yeah right.
Rougly 30% of DAOC players have at least tried this program out. The other version will still work tho.

That's good to know. I had some serious suspicions regarding some folks' playstyle and ability to run up right when the action got interesting, I won't name names though...*cough* SYTH *cough*.

Honestly, Syth has always been good. I don't think he even needs radar to own.
I once went to a website for some radar program. I think it was called unleashed something. Maybe not. Anyway, the website was so professional and the forums were so busy I was totally freaked out. I thought radar was made by some hacker dude and distributed to his friends and stuff. I didn't think it was... well.. like so much time was obviously put into that site and so many people on the forums. I was like "Crap! tons and tons of people are using this thing!"
I have to admit, I was VERY tempted to download it and check it out. Part of me feels like it isn't so immoral to use it in pve to find some of the sneaky mobs. I used to use the maphax in diablo2, since I didn't play pvp i didn't feel like I was cheating anyone. But daoc is a pvp game so i wouldn't feel right radaring even if I just used it in pve.
Also, I come from the Unreal Tournament community. I remember the way I used to look down on haxers there (mostly aimbot users). I really built up such a strong anti-cheater feeling from those damn aimbotters I just don't want those thingies on my machine, even just to "try them out."
I'm so convinced that a HUGE percentage of people in rvr use radar. Its almost at teh point where its like you have to get it to even out the playing field. But I just can't. Wouldn't be fun. Not that getting rolled by radaring jerks is fun, but you get the point.
