So about 2.5 years ago, Volkswagen Group of America announced that they where building a plant in chattanooga here to build the new Passat. Like almost all middle of the road employeed people in and around chattanooga, I applied hoping to get one of the positions to work there.

A little over a year an a half ago i started the interview process and made it through all 3 levels including the medical that was the most comprehensive medical exam for a job that i can imagine. That was April of 2010.

After 13 months of not hearing anything if i passed or failed, I finally got the call today with the job offer.

I start to work with Volkswagen Chattanooga on June 20th. I cant begin to say how excited i am for this.

Hey Slicks, that's great news! Congratulations!

Now, tell us more about exactly how comprehensive that medical exam was...

It was weird......the doctor pulled on his gloves, told me to drop my pants and bend over.

When i bent over right before he shoved his fingers up my ass he said "this is from Morety".

I felt a little violated.

Awesome! Congrats on the job! Didn't VW change it though and are producing Jetta's now instead of Passat's?

I'm happy for me. It's like the scene in 9 to 5 in Lily tomlin's day dream when her boss dies.
