Albs get end song

I was glad to hear that paladins are getting some love. I wonder if they will have to make a choice in songs they way our bards and wardens do. I hope the can't effectively twist end with another chant or it's gonna suck fighting alb tanks. With new parry/block code I don't wanna run into polearmsman that never runs out of end:( Then of course if they have a mini/pala combo they can sprint on top of speed for ever which means you can never catch or get away from them.

Yeah. I always thought that we got end regen because our armor wasn't as good as the other realms. *shrug*

What really annoys me though, is this: Paladins got resist chants...no biggie, except that theirs are grouped together, Heat/Cold/Matter and Body/Spirit/Energy; so they get 3 at the same time, while the bard chants are only singles. The bard TL had asked for the grouped versions for bards a long time ago and was told no. Also, they stack with other resist buffs. Bard chants don't. Again, something the Bard TL had asked for long ago.

Also, the range was increased on all the Paladin chants...Bard TL asked for the same thing and was refused. Bah.

About Paladins being able to twist end regen with another chant: They shouldn't be able to. Most chants have a recast time of 8 seconds, and they pulse , I think, every 5 seconds. So twisting won't be too effective. But, the chant is instacast. So a paladin will be able to start up end regen in battle without taking himself out of the battle for 4 or more seconds like a bard does. That's usually why a bard won't play end song in RvR very often. The time spent changing instruments and starting up a song is time that the bard isn't mezzing, healing, or interrupting casters.

The ability for them to frequently kick in end song while a mini plays speed is gonna be the biggest change. I wouldn't worry so much if it wasn't such a popular class. For all their crys of gimpiness they are a pretty popular class in albion. Very much like heros in hiberinia. If it has the same recast timer as a PBT (16s) and consumes power at the same rate as the wardens self end regen then it will be very useful, but not balance changing.
