Logged on Dilwert at 1 am or so, and get the normal "join the uber fin group" message. Being the sucker I am, run my butt over to do the normal 2 pulls before the group disbands(more than 2 but you know what I mean). So I threw out the suggestion to go pull the pit in CM.
Our group makeup, 2 druids, 2 mana enchanters, warden and miscelaneaous CM party washouts. The mobs of choice, Abysmals of course. Great loot, and XP is best in the pit. The tactics, pet pulling with pet only damage shield. I being the slave driver that I am, send my pet out to gather up 4-8+ Abys cast the damage shield and reel him home. The healers cast low level heals on the pet to keep him tickin. Then the backup mana enchanter(lvl 43) steps up to pbaoe them off.
This worked really well, we were just killing time and doing a little loot farming, but the xp still was close to fin xp. We had a couple of bad pulls(8-10 abys) that made for quick TPW's, but could have been avoided if it wasnt 5 in the morning, with half the party half asleep. Everyone in the group had a GREAT time, and I got another sable scale hauberk :)
