View Full Version : Merging?

I'm wondering if it's a good idea for us to consider merging into a larger legion... We really don't have enough people on at any one time like I had hoped, so we don't have many opportunities to group up and go wreak havok like we'd all like to.
Those times we were able to do that were great and made the game SO much more fun, so it makes me wonder if a move like this isn't such a bad idea... I was really hoping we could sustain things with genuine LOL people, but I'm not entirely convinced it's the best choice for us as a group.

Anyone else have thoughts on this? It's not something I'm dead set on, but I thought it was worth at least discussing.

My 2 cents...

There were only a few players left for LoL in Warhammer. When SpecialK found us a new alliance to join, one of the alliance guilds simply invited us to join them. Although I miss being a Lion, I do not regret joining The Basin. It has made the game play much more rewarding.
Now if we could just get the Lions back :) (btw, Tamm is keeping the Lions alive... he even went out and claimed a Keep a few weeks back :) )

Ya since We are all on at random times really and i think at most we have 7 actual people in the guild it would be best to consider merging.
Since we are all on at different times really and only time we could all get together would be on the weekends. So during the week we'd just be in limbo. Which wouldn't be to bad for grinding but it still more fun to grind in a group.

So I would be for joining up with a nice group of players.

Ok, I was afraid I was the only one that felt this way. As much as I would have like to have seen our former glory restored, it just wasn't happening.

I have a friend from another game that wound up in another legion. I'll put out the feelers and see if maybe they can absorb us. I think a lot of them are aussie/kiwi types, but that's fine by me. I still like our choice of server. It does seem to have lots of activity around the clock, which suits us. Nothing worse than a server that's dead for 8 hours a day.

We're in no way threatening to go over our limit by any means. There's no reason you can't create and alt legion or whatever if things got too crowded though.

If you think about it though... if the legions are intended to mimic military structure (as the lack of more than 3 ranks would imply) then there would naturally be a cap on the maximum size of one.

So i dropped out of the LoL Legion with my assassin. I am getting into http://www.tenaciousgamers.com/. I grouped with these guys and they seemed pretty cool. They arent huge, but there are always people on. They are international, but they speak english. I was on Vent with them last night. I will see how it goes and if it all goes well and we want to merge with them, it may be a good idea. I will keep you guys posted.

They look like a decent group of people to join up with. Based on your vouching for their personalities, I have no problems swapping over to their banner. The important thing is that we have people to group with for a change.

I'll see about applying with just one of my toons to start with and see how it goes. If all goes well, I can move over the others later if needed.

Do you have any insight as to what classes they are looking for in particular? Since several of us have multiple toons that would fit their guidelines, at least we should start with the classes most badly needed.

ROFL

From their site (requirements section):
"We are exactly like retired porn stars. Have you ever meet a retired porn star? I have. Retired porn stars like to tell hardcore stories about their hardcore past. They have amazing stories that will raise the hair on the back of your neck. They are extremely passionate about what they do but they no longer want the stress that comes with doing porn full time. They had their hardcore fun, now they just wanna enjoy the occasional rimjob with friends and family without it feeling like a second job. What I'm trying to say is we are just like porn stars."

I'm starting to like these guys... :hump:

LOL yeah, I was a little overtired and in full on smartass mode when I filled out their application, but they seemed to like it even that much more.
They seem to be the type of crew that likes to have fun. We should fit in well with them based on what I know so far.

So far so good with Tenacious. They're a good bunch of people. Very much like the Lions in the past. My first time in vent, Zawr tried to shoot a cutdown my way and wasn't expecting the zinger he got in return. I think Fal is still laughing at him.
As far as I'm concerned it's a perfect fit for us. Anyone who hasn't taken the time yet should go fill out an app. So far it's just me and Bleed that have made the switch. (I only moved over my chanter so far, but it's only a matter of time.)

Where the hell is Elvis? I'd have thought you'd be all over this.
