Interesting, in that it always amuses me when people whine before there's anything to whine about.

And besides, if anyone believed that Obama was going to stock his cabinet with ultra-liberals who would try to ramrod ultra-liberal policies, then they weren't listening to what he was saying. As far as I'm concerned, his appointments and his "waffling," if you want to call it that, are a good reflection of his campaign promises to work across the aisle, to find common ground, and to find solutions that work for everyone ... solutions based on current conditions.

And who's the guy crying because a labor secretary wasn't announced at the same time as the economic team? Boo hoo. Geez. A little patience, people.

So far he's done exactly what I expected and hoped he would do.

All this is proving is nobody is ever happy with anything that a person, president, government, church, stock market, school board or a soccer coach does.... everybody is always so down on things...

I got the most kick out of reading that he won't tax the big oil companies on their windfall proffits.

When the campain was running, gas was $3-$4 a gallon... its down to $1.50's now... no more extra proffits to tax really.

I'd personally prefer that he'd just middle-finger the whole right wing--much as the right wing has been doing over the last few years--but then I suppose if we're going to undo the damage those people have done to our society we'll have to play nice-doggy with them until we can find a rock.
