Even if you really want to grind out the quests, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you queue up for the BGs. Reason being is that 1 BG = about 5 quests for experience and takes all of 20 min max, usually a lot less.

Also there is no blacksmithing/armorer and some of the best lootz is from renown (PvP) and influence (PQs) (not just placing high in a PQ).

First stage of most PQ is kill 80-100 of some mob. You sometimes can grind out a bunch of influence if no one else is doing the PQ and get like 100+ inf per kill.

Renown gear is sold by the Renown merchants and Influence sold by the Rally Guy (also who you talk to for binding).

Rested experience is earned only when the character is logged out. There is no Inns. Have not been to the Inevitable City yet to see if you accum it while wandering the streets.

A note for BGs. The Tier one goes from 1-12, however if you are below 8 your Rank (term for level in WAR) is raised to 8 which is health and base stats. It lets you actually participate. What you do not have is abilities learned at higher levels, gear or saves.

Thankfully the game is designed so that no-one is getting one shotted. If you PvP'd in WoW you are really going to have to get used to the slower flow. Now ganging up on someone can clean their clock real fast.

Another neat thing about the BGs is that full collisions is on meaning you can hdie behind the meat shields (but their big buttz get in da way too!)

You also want to queue up because it's FUN. My favorite T1 area is Khaine's Embrace. Just don't get blown up too much ;)

Oh its fun as hell, just telling people nto to skip it. When I get 9 or 10 I am going to cycle the BGs a few times before I level out of the Tier. I have only down Gates of Ekrund so far.

FYI: Gates of Ekrund is like Arathi Basin with only 3 control points in a line. Each point takes about 20 sec to turn over if unresisted and all of 20 sec to run from one side to the other on the wall. Very good pace.

I've played all three and thought all of them were fun. The interesting thing is if you go to another race's instance, you sometimes throw the balance off by adding a new class. Makes things interesting.
