the first Core server(non-oceanic) that starts with a "B" listed in alphabetical order should be the official DAoC Warhammer server (which looks like BARAK VAR)

This was from a user named Morety, I would really love it Devon supported it

I think that it would bring a large number of DAoC players to the same server and incite similar competition and old enemies as well as some of the same friends

I'll most likely be Order on Helborg with some friends. So I may not play with but... against, I guess. If Zardok doesn't work out I think the first 'H' right now is Helborg.

I currently play Marzo, L10 RR10 Bright Wizard. Put in about an hour a night, its decent.

I found a bug in Renown Training respec today though. It now thinks I have every tier 1 renown training available. Weeee. Again, *crosses fingers* hope mythic fixes this stuff.

Collectors editions get the first start. Then the preorders get on.

I'm assuming the first 5 servers are the first ones to be online based on that list.

We can go for any one of those 5, but odds are they're likely to be most crowded too. Monolith's listed as the first one to be put on the list after the initial 5. It should be safe, based on them having close to 1 million beta testers.

After giving my rant on the VN boards, the best server would be Sylvania, IMO. Every one of these servers are going to have high population, and if they limit population for average peaks across all servers, these servers have a high likelihood of QUEUES. So if at all possible, I'd like to avoid that as much as possible while still being able to establish myself on Sunday.

Good part is on Skullthrone it looks like Order and Destruction are about even (both have about the same Queues)

I leveled up to 8 on badlands on CE day 1 per a reply from a fianna, saw later that night LoL had changed to Skull Throne and Day 2 got up to Rank 7.

Mythic changed all the server names, screwing up our plans. I had been away in Niagara Falls all last weekend. When I got back I saw a ton of people from Pellinor heading to Skull ****. I gave Reignfyre a pm saying let's head there. After a bit I posted we were heading to skull****. Reign got back to me and said Fianna was going back to plan "A" and taking the first server starting with B. Unfortunately, I already committed to skull**** by then.

Our TS Server info is now stickied onto the top of the WAR forum in the privates.

Partially. If people go out and buy the game tomorrow and sign on for the 1st time, there will be two factors influencing their server choice based on high population status.

1. They avoid Skullthrone because of the high population and queues.
2. They join Skullthrone because all their friends are already on this server and they want to join them.

Finally, we have some even better news for a large number of our players. Since we launched the Head Start program, we have told people that after launch we would allow them to move characters from a high population server to a low population server free of charge.

Tomorrow morning, we will begin a process to essentially clone(who says you can’t mix sci-fi and fantasy) all character, Auction House and guildinformation of several of our high population servers to brand new servers. Players and guilds can choose which server (old, new or both!) they wish to play on. Nobody’s characters will be deleted and because they are being copied to clean servers, everyone gets to keep their names and their guild names. As far as we know nobody has done this before in the MMORPG industry and we are proud to be the first to offer this to our players.

So, it is up to you, whether you are just an individual player or guild to stay on the existing server or to move to the new server. Here are the servers that are being moved and the names of their clones

Personally, I'd rather stay. Queues can only get better, and there are already complaints of some of the servers being so dead that it's no fun.

I say we stay and wait it out. The replication includes chacter copies so its not like we have to "move" our characters. If after about a week we still have the option of going to the alt sserver with just a few days played lost as opposed to re-rolling.
