Electronic Arts has announced the release date for its much-anticipated MMO Warhammer: Age of Reckoning - it will launch on September 18 in North America, Europe and Oceania, a window which will put it head-to-head with World of Warcraft's next expansion, Wrath of the Lich King.

Honestly... WHY go against WoW's launch... it will only affect the success of Warhammer... in a negative way.

It will be a few weeks for sure....if Who is release in Sept. you know WoW wont release untill around Thanksgiving because they want the close to christmas crowd to buy them out. So that give you about 8 weeks to play WHO and decided that Mythic still sucks donkey balls:fuct:

I think they bought it forward because of the massive failure of AOC.
Give AOC more time with no viable alternative, people could head back to AOC if they were deemed to fix certain things.
On the WoW expansion level, all the people not happy with WoW but still playing it (i.e. those that quit AOC and went back), will likely chose WHo over a WoW expansion.

I sure hope theres a graphics upgrade before they go live, or alot of people are gonna laugh.

Come Come now.... WoW is like crack... the people will go back in droves... and from what I hear.... WarHammer... is gonna launch worse then AoC... and with nothing new....
