Lions rift again?

So I've noticed a few lions, new 50's and vets, rifting more regularly with other groups and as our numbers start to build back up I was wondering if there was enough interest in starting our kin raid up again?

Personally I would like to see us raiding again but I'm sure there are those who may have some differing opinions so I'm putting this thread out here as a ./discuss.

In kin we have number of very experienced raiders and so I'm sure if the will is there we can make it a fun and succesful raid group.

I know that the old raid broke down for a number of reasons and so if anyone has any concerns that would rather not post in public, i.e. that they want/don't want to bring a particular class etc. or wanting to start at certain locks or even raid leadership, feel free to send me a private message on here, in game mail to my main (Boborin) or speak to me in game. I'm sure if we have the bodies we can accomodate everyone so get involved and tell me what you want.

Also the other thing to consider is when. Again, discuss, but as a start I will put 7pm EST on fridays as that would suit me best, but as you all know, I'm flexible.

Ok there you go. It would be really nice to see the lions raiding so let me know if you can commit to something regular.

You imply that there was a reason raiding stopped - what was it please? I'll join you if i can Bob: GMT+10 can cause problems tho: 7pm USA EST friday is 9am saturday my time, but should be doable.

The whole reason Lions raids went on hiatus is due to the time frames of everyone and the unpreparedness of everyone.

The main issue was with the summer and the launching of AoC a number of regular raiders were/are taking a hiatus from the game and so since we were struggling for numbers on a weekly basis we decided to take a break from raiding. However. the point of this post isn't to discuss that, it is to see if we have enough people interested in getting started again.

Somewhere around 8:00->9:00 EST is probably a more realistic time (especially for the west-coasters) so that should give you a few more hours sleep in the morning Embar.

i definitely want to raid. The Rift and Helegrod. However, my schedule is always different, and late. So, most likely whatever time works for most, will not work for me.

If the 9:00pm eastern is the targeted start time, the days I would most reliably be to do that (at least at the moment) would be sunday and monday.

as always, my work schedule dictated my raiding..ive tried to help all who wanted to continue to raid to find raids, however seeing a kin raid would be nice..and yes bob, the dwindleing numbers is why i put ours on haitus, with the new expansion coming out in the fall we will hopefully see another influx of players..and summertime for those of us on the northern hemisphere..games always slow down..scheduling is a bit of a problem, some can only raid during the day, some only late at nite (i get home about 10 est)..anyways, we'll see how it goes :)

my raiding has been nonexistent...i rarely get enough uninterrupted time in the summer to do a raid. so far i have one (1) piece of rift armor on one toon. :P

Bacta is up for raiding but schedules are a problem of course. Saturday tuesday or wednesday nights are the only nights I can do it late. If we are going to do one where we would finish around midnight or even one eastern then sure i could do it any night but the problem seems that we have tons of people spread out in different timezones.

I'm in the same boat. Weekdays are just impossible for me to do long groups. I'm back and forth at the computer trying to play. Weekends are my only chance to get in on raids or long group quests like cd.

Would love to join..need to raid more. Myproblem is i work soooo early in the morning..2am.. I can only do it when I have the next day off. Or if anyone wants to raid in the middle of the day I'm in..LOL
