hey we might want to keep an eye on this as we get our city built. just read this on the AoC forums.
here is what was said.
Well, I think we got a Server first tonight. A few exploiters from a guild called Brethren(not to be confused with THE Brethren) decided to destroy our guild's Thieve's Den and Barracks, and are currently working on our keep (50% last I checked).
So...as a warning to all other guild leaders out there. Get to know your neighbors...they might be exploiters.
Looks like Guild citys on Pve servers can be destroyed down to 50% then it has to be repaired.

It looks like the cheapest one is 116g, but it depends on what zone you pick. I think his tier 3 city costs are not accurate as I've heard it's 5g per plan at that level not 8 (so they would be 5/8 as much)

Ah there is a difference between a "Battle Keep" and a "Guild City". The Battle Keep is out there to be attacked, but a Guild City isn't.

according to the whole tread on it. sounds like it is a bug between Pve & PvP.
Just hate for us to start building Our city and someone comes along and destroys it. Not that it should be a big problem because not everyone is going to be able to get into our zone.

Looks like thay fixed this with todays patch.

so I saw we got a guild city already? if so how can we find it and what are our advantages from it? i.e. is there any reason for a little level 20 like me to bother going there just yet?

unfortunately, no, coplann. None of the buildings do anything. It's just for getting attacked.

The buildings dont do anything "yet", but Funcom have said they they will.
Traders you can get i believe.
Cop, to get there you have to be 20+, out of tortage.
Go through Old Tarantia to the WIld lands of Zelata, and the entrance is in the North West corner. Click on the take me to my guild city option when you enter.
Yes its worth it as you can pick up the gathering skills in town at level 20 i believe, at least i saw someone level 28 gathering stuff.
You can then gather and complete the gathering quests as you level and travel the 20 something zones.

how much do the crafting-skills cost to buy btw?
