Been watching the threads. Is there anything like DAoC PvP for Connan?
Need to be a min. level to enter the zones?

I'd like to hear the answer to this one, as well. I'm having fun, but so far I'm just in that solo instance place where you quest up to level 20. Would be nice to know more about what's coming up.

Far as I know we need to build us a battle keep, and destroy other guild's while they try to destroy ours.

I don't know much about it either but I guess there are like border zones where pvp is enabled, so i guess that could be kind of similar to daoc. I hope it's more than just those keep zones.

Any ideas on this yet? Now that the Lions have a keep, does it get attacked?
Having not played the game, I'm only guessing to what is happening. Right now, I envision a bunch of keeps, dotting the lands, and small roving groups looking for weak walls to attack, loot and plunder, and basicly just piss off another guild. Guild ganking.
Per Post's direction in his quitting thread, what is the PvP point?
I hope its a good answer :)

Well we have a keep up but the keeps exist in the area where guild cities are allowed, which is not a pvp zone. Once the guild cities reach the highest tier, THEN You can create a battle keep in the pvp zones, which are free for all pvp kinda like the rvr zones in daoc. It will still be some time before we see people's guild keeps up and the ability to siege them.
However if you want to pvp you can just run out to the borderlands and anyone can fight anyone. I haven't really experimented with any of it yet, though.

If you're between levels 21-40, you can join as a group and do some pvp intances. When you get into this instance, your character is automagically upgraded to be a level 39, so you're on par with everyone else. I did it once and it was fun.

What really rankles me about PVP in this game is that as a melee damage dealer, the BIGGEST melee damage dealer (barb) i cannot pull off my biggest combo's most of the time because you cant complete them if you move whilst performing them.
Melee on the move ? i mean you should be able to do that right ?
So, most casting/healing types know this and move as soon as you jump them.
Now, i am lucky. I have stun, AE stun, knockback, AE knockback, but even when that caster is on his ass my big attack which wipes out +2 mobs most times in a 4 second combo, hardly hurts this cloth wearing caster on his ass.
Lets face it, we all want another DAOC PVP quality in a more modern MMO, but i dont see anyone getting close.
Come to think of it, they did the same thing in LOTRO, certain melee moves you couldnt do unless you were standing still.

Ok I am the same class as you... where are you getting 4 stuns from? Maybe there is a feat i haven't trained?
stun = staggering blow
AE stun = earth shatter (feat)
AE knockback = Clobber
what is the "knockback" you are referring to?? Not trying to nitpick your post I just want to make sure there isn't a skill im missing!
