What class are you on Zug?

Just trying to get a feel on what I should be. I have an 18 demonologist and a 6 tempest, but I'd be willing to start over if we need a particular class bad enough.

I have a 16 Priest of Mitra - discovered I couldn't solo with it. So I made a Guardian which is currently lv 20.

I have two that I'm working with. A Dark templar and an Assassin. not sure which one I want as my main just getting my feet wet with them. i would say just go with what fits right with your play style, because i'm sure we will get more people in the coming weeks that are still on the fence.

i am the only DT??? they are supposed to very group friendly. Now i know about my self buffs i was taking on 4-6 mobs at once...lifetaps/hots are a big help

Barbarian is very cool. They can take alot of punishment. I'm going to lvl the demo just because I've done so much hacking and slashing in the past and have never been a mage.

i think i may try a PoM...i am not yet sold on any one class yet. They all seem to have their place. If a PoM is like a DaoC friar...that would be cool.

My first guy is a barbarian but I imagine I will try out a few other classes when I get this guy to 20.

Maybe a ranger and then a casting class.

Stacking HoTs, a strong (feat spec insta) heal, and that Lance of Mitra really eliminate the need for a second healer if you spec right. At least, that's what I'm experiencing now at 37.

I <3 my Bear Shaman.

I never run out of mana it seems. I can do surprisingly high dps. If you manage your HoTs right, you can handle just about anything. I killed 2 even level bosses and a minion at the same time the other day without ever going below half life.

I put a pause on my demo for now. Too much dying. I am using my guardian right now and he is lvl 16. I've only died once with him. I can take on 5 mobs of equal level at once. Leveling is fast with the guard and allows me to learn the quests so that I can level my demo up later. I expect a guard nerf before long, his combo dps is pretty high which is unusual with a guard.

Guardians don't need a nerf.... we kill stuff SLOW compared to an Assassin... man.. the have good DPS...

I'm a Blunt/Board Guardian... so I can't speak about the DPS associated with the PoleArm...

The lower lvls are tuff but later on not much dieing

My DPS isn't that high... but Nim gets bored grouping with just be.. because she doesn't need to heal that often...

I'm guessing lvl 50.... but I'm not sure... we get Heavy Armor.. then we also get Plate...

Edit: We get Plate at lvl 60... so I'm guessing... Lvl 40 for Heavy (Maybe)...

I'm going to be running my assassin Kimbal mainly. Got Hraland to 20, but not real happy with the conq and I didn't want to delete him and start again (maybe).

Assassin is way kewl. Lot's of DPS, but kinda squishy if you pull too many mobs. But with high Hide you can go face-to-face with same level (non-boss) mobs and not get aggro. I think the attack animations are better as well.

Hraland you'll have fun with the assassin. mine is up to level 35 now. just make sure you have lots of heal pots on you and pop one just about everytime before a battle with 3 or more mobs.

I think in Beta i got my heavy armour at level 40 with my Conq.

Guardians get heavy armor at level 30. Azaziel looks great in the stuff.

Demonologists are amazing at 30+ for aoe damage. For serial.

heavy as in plate? Conqs and Guardians get heavy armor at 30, but I think Guardians get plate later on.

Looks like Necros and Demos are the least common overall.

that sucks... it doesn't seem like there is a "real" caster class that deals with direct damage. Demos and Necros both have pets so they dont seem like DD casters. HoX's are also more of hybrids as well. I am sure I will try all classes at some point though.

I just started in earnest last night. I have a Demo at almost 10 and reserved my ranger name. May reserve some other names tonight.

My only concern? I'm not sure I want to live in a world where Poker's ranger isn't named SecretSquirrel. I suggest a re-roll. :rolly: A Redace buffbot would complete the package!

I think you need a new poll showing the distribution of mains. Maybe leave off the HoX since they are the least played it seems.
