Feats?

I am very confused about feats. How do I open the feat screen? How do I get them and are the points to use them different from the stat points you accumulate? Are they skills you slot?

Sorry for the noob questions, but I can't find an explanation at these sites that I can understand fully.

you start to get feats at level 10, they will show up with one of the tabs at the top of your screen. Also make sure you don't waste to much skill points in climb. unless they changed it in beta, 10 points or less will work. Use the U key to climb, that was the biggest question in global chat during beta with all the new people getting in to beta.

Oh ok. I'm only level 9 ToS. I had to set my climb to 30 to climb a ladder in an earlier quest. I guess feat points are different from the points you use to set bandaging, climbing... etc?

yeah. Feats are different. I think the default hotkey is (N)? It's like WoW talent points.

It's so much like WoW's talent points that they made it the same hotkey. For the skill points (which climb is a part of), I've been maxing out the one that affects running speed, and so far it seems to be a very very slight effect.

To climb, I just right-clicked on the vines and pressed forward.

then they changed it since beta for climb. the right click sounds like a better way to do it. good to see there have been some improvements made.
