Was that supposed to be downloadable today? I am seeing mixed messages about today and the 14th.

I heard the 14th, and you can start playing on the 17th, and it opens up retail on the 20th.

Looks like they are playing a little red light / green light with the client download for early access :)

It will be earlier than the 14th it appears.

yea, i thought it was going to happen today, but apparently within the nest few days we can at least d/l the client.

I was really hoping i could download this before leaving on vacation. I guess there is still a chance, but I am heading to Vegas on Monday and wont be back until the 17th!

If no one sees me online on the 17th, someone needs to claim my names for me. :)

Don't blindly download some link spread on the forums, it might be the wrong client and you will not be able to play with the wrong client. You have to get your download link through your account tool, then you are save to download and download the right client.

Don't openly spread the download client, it will make other non Early Access players download it and ruin your download speed. _________________

Have fun with the D/L... almost 14 gigs... depending on who is online downloading affects your D/L speed I believe...

I can't look from work, but are you guys all downloading via bittorrent or are there other methods? If so, do they provide a download manager so that you don't lose your progress and can pause? TIA.

It is a torrent and yes they have their own manager so you can pause and resume without issue. When I downloaded it the speed held around 400K so it was not to painful, granted normally I can get around 500+K from most other sources.

So the final install is like 23 gigs. It's no wonder previous games didn't have nipples, they take up a lot of storage space!

guys maybe you can help me, i preordered the game off the link on the vn boards. It says your preorder key can be used to play early. Where is this preorder key?

also i went to my account following the link register.ageofconan.com and logged in. there was a link there that said "purchase early access" I clicked on this and all i got was buying crap for anarchy online that i havent played in 6 years

when i went to add a subscription for age of conan it said none available and a key was required so i think im back to square one

any help is appreciated

How long ago did you order Dave ? you should get a couple of emails with keys for your free item and earlie start

Yay! Now that I have that downloaded, I find out that I should have looked for a link to purchase the EA. *sigh* Meh, oh well. I'll be there on the 20th.

Not sure where this should go. Word on the forums is there was a new patch out. So you might want to check your install to see if there is a new patch for you. if you haven't got an e-mail from FC about it. sounds like it was over a gig in download.

i'm not sure if this will affect you guys on your early start. Have fun and happy gaming.
