Legendary Class Quest Page Drops

Hey guys--Need a little help here. I have had a VERY TOUGH time getting the missing pages for Best Defense and Shield Maidens books. I have overheard a couple players state that being in a group of 4 or more SIGNIFICANTLY increases the rate/chance of these pages dropping. I didn't reallly give it too much thought until I watched 3(or maybe it was 4) minstrel pages drop for Bacta in like 5 minutes or less with me, Chaos and Sobeit. Maybe it was good fortune or maybe there is some truth to this.

Can anyone shed some solid insight cause I am tired of farming for these pages solo with very little luck.

Im not sure if this is ture or not either but i heard that ther ear better odds of finding pages if you are the only person looting. Now last night when i found all those pages i was basiclly following behind you guys cleaning up the bodies before you could. It seemed to work but like you said it could have been really good luck....really super awsome good luck that kitty will never have...EVER.....EVER EVER EVER! :p

Based on perusing the Lotro forums, the only impact that more people in your group has on you getting pages is the kill rate. I found that when I was going after pages solo I only got the pages that I needed, but when I was in a group and I got a page it could be from any book not just the Champ books. So being in a group may increase your odds of getting a page, but it might not be a page you need. Also, the fewer pages you need the more mobs it will take to get them. It took me forever to get the last page I needed for both the books I've done so far.

All that being said, if you need help and I'm online, just give a shout and I'll kill whatever needs to be kilt.

Thanks for the input guys. As always, I appreciate all the help I can get---really need those 2 legendary traits to strengthen my aggro holding abilities on the front lines!!

The most frustrating pages for me were the ones from the level 41-42 Angarim (sp?) in Ram Duath. I did seem to notice that being grouped even with just one person seemed to make the pages drop more often. I actually farmed somewhere around 150k xps on the orcs in the swamp looking for pages.
