You can do something called "sprays" in TF2. So what it is, you can do some basic photo-editing and place pictures in-game.
You can spray a sniper on a wall and watch the enema shoot at him.
Me, I'm thinking of some more fun stuff. Like, maybe when I get on a server I'll 'spray' the ball-licking-lion onto a home base wall or something like that which says "Lions Are Here!"
I don't know all the details on it yet, but damn it looks like it could be some fun stuff. I'll get into this over the holidays for sure. Here's a link from MyU:

HAHAHA... That's exactly what I was thinking half way through your post! Wouldn't it be great to see a giant lion licking his balls grafitii'd on a wall in a game! I'd die of laughter!!!!!!!

I do exactly that every game I'm in. I have a 256x256 lion licking his balls. :)
Ever since Mo posted that picture!

This is what sprays are for:
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/29RE0blCV84&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/29RE0blCV84&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
I'm just sticking to what I had in TF Classic: "CAUTION: WET FLOOR"

Harm, can you tell me, in plain English, what I have to do to make these work?

You just need to put it in the right folder, as far as I can tell.

actually scratch that. all you have to do is this:
1) While in TF2, go to Options->Multiplayer
2) Click "Import Spray"
3) Find your file, and you're good to go.
You may possibly need to do the following first:
0) resize your image to be 64/128/256 x 64/128/256

Wow, looks easy. When I tried to do it though, for some reason it's not picking up the file I go to. It's only 43k too.

Trying to save it in the proper file first:
Save As > Save in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\ACCNAME\team fortress 2\tf\materials\VGUI\logos (if some don't exist make them) >hit the scroll down > .VTF > and save

Okay, here's what it's going to look like in-game. I've got the transparencies all set up and some animation in it now:

Meh, figuring out all the animation stuff for in-game is like rocket surgery.
I'll have to stick to still shots for now. My patience wore out.

Picked up the game today. Got owned but had a lot of fun. Mostly doing heavy right now because it doesn't seem to require much in the way of thinking. Pull trigger until dead, wash, rinse, repeat.

You need to put the spray up here so any lion can use it :D

Woot, multi-Lion spray.

Here's the still image. If I can figure out how to do animated sprays sometime, I'll post it up as well.
[edit]I can't upload vmt files here :/ or post on my webspace.
