This sounds good and may help me settle on a finally spec template. However, does anyone know exactly how a ground targeted AE works? What is good/bad about it versus say my void ranged AE or my mana pbaoe? Just curious.

It's the best of both worlds. It's ranged and it doesn't requre a target. I wonder if you can cast it through walls? If you can it will be even better than pbaoe for keep defense because you don't have to get in range of your enemy's pbaoe.

you have to see your target.. but you can target right under the door, and that will hit the other side.. that's what earth wizzies are doing right now
