Lions are quickly becoming extinct in LOTRO :(

I havent been playing all that much, but it seems when I am online I dont see many people around anymore.

Anyone coming back or are those that left gone for good?

I think MMO burn-out is starting to set-in on the entire MMO community... :)

I left the other night Bear.... btw, if you need cash I logged in and sent your brother (he was online and you weren't) 13g. Gave all my other stuff to the guild leader (Adanar).

I left because I haven't had any time to play whatsoever since taking my new job and becoming actively involved in Scouts once again, but I also believe there is a great deal to be said about MMO burnout as well.

Yeah I agree that it's somewhat MMO burn out. But really the game didn't offer anything new, at least not that i saw. Other then some cool looking areas and it being Lord of the Rings so you could put a picture to the books. What else does it have to offer?

Why wouldn't you just play what you did before? it's essentially the same thing

Sorry to hear that Brey

Thanks for the cash... I think I have about 60g on Nanuq and now I bet Polarbeer has 30g :) I wish individuals could buy guild size houses, lol

As far as LOTRO goes, I dont really play it for the game as much as just playing something some friends are playing. Unfortunately, I have been seeing so many people leaving that I dont know how long I will end up sticking around unless I find some new "shiney" element to it.

I understand the burnout thing, I just bought the Orange Box for that very reason, but havent had time to try it out much. Hopefully everyone's MMO burnout wears off by Warhammer's release.

Considering that WAR is just more WoW (like LotRO) I doubt it will undo the MMO burnout. Unless of course Mythic really does a number on the game while beta is suspended.

Still playing but have limited time now that holidays are coming up, and working a new job.

I think that there is general MMO burnout, plus the fact that there are a lot of new games on other platforms that are also eating up lots of time. Call of Duty 4, TF2, Mass Effect and others are taking away from my LotRO and CoH/CoV time for sure.
