I have heard nothing but raving reviews for the instanced PvP and one of the purposes for the beta halt is to improve the world PvP.

I'm in the beta, and that's all I can say. However, purely out of speculation...

It's *possible* that the rave reviews of instanced pvp were due in part to expectations being raised and then utterly crushed by bland, horrible gameplay that creates suffering beyond belief in the innocents caught within its web, *and*, that the instanced pvp, being one of the few alright parts of this horrible blight, has been emphasized by those with some experience playing.

That is all conjecture.

Took me a bit to get it running (3x)... had download difficulties at first...

If you are downloading the beta, I highly recommend downloading the 500mb segments. faster download and more stable.
